After training at the La Rochelle Dance Academy, Mara Whittington joined the Avignon Dance Academy.

Later on, she worked with several companies – the Révelenscène Company, the Karbal Nouméa Ballet in New Caledonia and also Richard Digoué’s Nyan Company.

She joined the Julien Lestel Ballet in 2012.
